So every time I flew previously (since 9/11) I had been 'randomly' selected for additional security screening. Since this always happened at kiosks or online check-in, I assume it was because I have an unusual name. Well today I finally again know the joy of not going through additional screening.
Surprised to admit, but security was surprisingly fast and easy. Same old, put all your bags, coat, laptop, clothes, and firstborn children on the belt, but the time through was fast and no inappropriate contact. TSA at O'Hare gets an A- from me. The only reason not an A is because the woman baking out what to do was mumbling and hard to hear.
We did start off at the wrong terminal because we assumed an international departure would be from the international terminal. Nope, all United departs terminal 1. No biggie, we took the airport train over and were at our gate with an hour and a half to spare. Even time for The Art Girl to shop for a book. ;-)
