Rakkï Dei Zero (ラッキーデイゼロ)

Yeah, no, wait, what?

I'm Geek, and my wife is The Art Girl. We have decided to do a travel blog, especially with hopes that we will do more traveling and experience the great cultures, sights, foods, and other experiences around this planet. We have, together, decided to name this post "Rakkï Dei Zero" (Google's translation of "Lucky Day Zero") because it is the night before our flight to Tokyo, Japan, and The Art Girl won us this trip. Now, in some way it is an ironic title as from what I have read, the Japanese people do not really believe in luck the way we do, but they have a word for it, so it sticks.

(Note: at the time of writing, there was a previous flight still in progress, ours is for 11/15).

Tomorrow promises to be a very long day. Expect lots of pictures of marginally socially acceptable behavior, and/or sleeping faces. Maybe even shots from the plane of the Arctic, Alaska, Russia, or water... lots and lots of water...

Here are today's pictures!
